About Us:

At America Works, we’re committed to empowering individuals receiving disability benefits (SSI/SSDI) as they reenter the workforce through our Ticket to Work program. We have a long history in social services and employment, and we're looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Ticket to Work Representative.


Job Overview:

As a Ticket to Work Representative, you’ll play a critical role in guiding clients through their employment journey. You'll manage a caseload of participants, provide direct support, and develop partnerships to create employment opportunities. This position offers a unique chance to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while being part of a supportive and dynamic team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Client Caseload: Maintain a caseload of clients, both virtual and onsite, ensuring their continuous progress through the Ticket to Work program. Provide tailored support to help clients overcome barriers to employment. Expected to make inbound and outbound telephone calls

  • Client Support and Counseling: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, offering guidance on employment goals, strategies for overcoming obstacles, and navigating the return to work process.

  • Community and Employment Partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations and employers to create opportunities for client placement and support.

  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document client interactions, progress, and outcomes in Salesforce and other systems, ensuring compliance with program requirements.

  • Training and Certification: Complete and pass the Social Security Administration’s Suitability Process and, if preferred, the CWIC certification to enhance your ability to support clients.


Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related field.

  • Experience in social services, particularly in working with individuals with disabilities or those overcoming significant challenges (preferred but not required).

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft 365; experience with Salesforce is strongly preferred.

  • Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on empathy and client-centered support.

  • Certification: Ability to complete and pass the Social Security Administration’s Suitability Process. CWIC certification is a plus.
