Management Assistant (Policy) Paid Internship

  • Manage the City’s affordable housing interest list, including sending and tracking compliance and leasing letters

  • Draft, send and track compliance letters for affordable housing rents and first-time homebuyer loans

  • Gather required verification and recommend actions on those who fail to maintain compliance with program rules

  • Review loan files for completeness and obtain any missing documents, ensure all documents are recorded and provided to City Clerk

  • Assist with creating training materials Draft new forms


  • Must be between 18-30 years old

  • Are unemployed, underemployed and/or out of school


  • Hourly Pay: $18-$22

  • Weekly Hours: 25-40 hours per week,

  • Internship Duration: 6 months - 12 months
