SUMMARY:

Blue Chip Tacos, a cutting-edge ghost kitchen concept, is seeking talented and passionate Line Cooks and Prep Cooks to join our dynamic culinary team. We specialize in crafting authentic Mexican dishes using high-quality ingredients, bringing a unique and flavorful experience to our customers.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


LINE COOKS:

  • Execute the cooking and plating of menu items during service hours.

  • Operate various cooking equipment such as grills, fryers, and stovetops.

  • Ensure consistency in the quality and presentation of dishes.

  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet service demands efficiently.


PREP COOKS:

  • Prepare and organize ingredients for daily service, contributing to the setup.

  • Chop, marinate, and measure ingredients according to recipes and menu requirements.

  • Assist in maintaining a well-stocked and organized kitchen.

  • Support the kitchen team in creating a seamless cooking process.


QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced kitchen environment.

  • Knowledge of Mexican cuisine and a passion for delivering authentic flavors.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing kitchen priorities and demands.

  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods during kitchen operations.

  • Ability to lift moderately weighted items as part of daily kitchen tasks.

  • Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain).

 

COMPENSATION:

  • Competitive hourly rate: $18 - $22 per hour, commensurate with experience.
