JOB SUMMARY:
As a Manual Mill Operator, you will operate manual industrial equipment to manufacture and complete precision machined components. You will be required to set-up, adjust, and operate all of the manual machines to perform the work needed. You will also be responsible for communicating to your supervisor any needs in terms of fixtures, clamps, cutters, and any other essential items needed to complete your job safely and correctly.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform and complete paperwork for all preventative maintenance assigned to operator for each piece of equipment
Select the appropriate tools, machines, and materials to be used in preparation of machinery work
Fill out all traceability paperwork capturing work performed
Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines
Set up, adjust, and operate all the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations
Rework completed parts not meeting blueprint requirements or requiring modifications due to changes in design
Utilize tools such as but not limited to micrometers, calipers, indicators, depth gauges, height gauges, to ensure parts were machined per blueprint
Operate independently with minimal supervision
Read blueprint drawings, and interpret what machining process must be utilized to achieve desired result
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High School Diploma (Preferred)
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of manual machining experience
Skills:
Must have experience working with and machining aluminum, steel, and plastics
Must be very adept with the usage of various manual machines, including Lagun FTV manual mill, horizontal band saw, and miter saw
Safety focused and knowingly follow all safety guidelines and best practices while operating manual equipment
Other:
Extended or irregular hours may be required.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

PAY RATE: Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $18/hour to $32/hour
