JOB SUMMARY: Must have the ability to interpret customer design data and tolerances. Measure the installation of inserts and the perpendicularity of holes in panels in accordance with customer design data. Must be able to use standard measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, etc. Must be able to understand visual and cosmetic standards. Must understand the process and have the ability to create first article reports, nonconformance reports; as well as assisting in corrective actions investigations.
This is a Second Shift Position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interpret customer design data and tolerances.
Inspect panels for perpendicularity per the inspection plans and customer design data.
Inspect panels with hardware components installed per the inspection plans and customer design data.
Use standard measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, etc.
Must understand the process and can create inspection reports, first article reports, nonconformance reports; as well as assisting in corrective actions investigations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
A high school diploma is desired.
A two-year college degree (Associate degree) and/or ASQ inspection certification is desired.
Experience:
Position may be filled with both entry level and/or experienced candidates. Experience with inspection techniques and the use of standard inspection measuring hand tools is desired.
Skills:
Skill in interpreting design data and using standard inspection measuring hand tools is desired.
Other:
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

SUPERVISION PROVIDED TO THE POSITION
This position is under the supervision of Inspection Supervision or Quality Management.
PAY RATE: Projected Salary: $65,000 to $110,00
