Overview: Are you interested in a long-term career in finance? As a Business Development Associate, you will learn the Equipment Finance Industry and work alongside the Sales team to build a book of both business vendors and end user clientele. You will start with existing clients in retention and upselling and build new business relationships in order to build a book of business with


Essential Job Duties

  • Work with existing client base to retain and upsell business opportunities

  • Develop sales leads independently to attain new business relationships

  • Identify and build long-standing relationships with Manufacturers of Equipment

  • Understanding Equipment Financing basics; credit reports, funding process, lease terms, etc.

  • Database entry to manage book of business and use of lead generation tools to prospect

  • Heavy phone activity to existing customers and new prospective leads

  • Additional duties as assigned


Skills Learned During On-the-Job Training

  • Develop sales leads independently; retain and upsell business opportunities with existing clients

  • Identify and build long-standing relationships with Manufacturers of Equipment

  • Understanding Equipment Financing basics; credit reports, funding process, lease terms, etc.

  • Database entry and CRM management

  • Customer service through phone and written communication

Minimum Qualifications

• Banking, teller, or escrow experience helpful

• Persistent and ambitious drive

• Resilient, flexible, and a team player

• Ethical and professional

• Proficient in English both verbal and written

• Excellent computer and phone skills
