JOB SUMMARY:
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) provides a powerful voice and a meaningful connection for children who have experienced abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Their vision is that every child in foster care has an advocate they can depend on to help them reach their fullest potential. Working under the supervision of the Program Operations Manager and in close collaboration with the Program Associate, this position provides necessary administrative support to the program staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Preparing, delivering, and electronically filing CASA court documents to the court and other parties
Provide administrative support to program staff to include processing paperwork and updating information in the database
Creating and modifying documents using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools
Complete Sensitive Subject Training
Knowledge of community services addressing the needs of at-risk children and families
Additional duties as required

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Detail oriented extremely important – will be working on documents submitted to courts
Good integrity and strong discretion – participant will be exposed to sensitive information regarding minors and must protect confidentiality
Ability to work independently, self direct, and multitask between various platforms
Excellent computer skills to include data entry, typing or word processing, Google Docs and Microsoft Office
SCHEDULE:
Schedule will be 20+ hours per week, 5-7 hours per day, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
