Essential Job Duties:
Operates cash register, completes credit card transactions, answers the phone and arranges monies for safekeeping.
Processes textiles and wares for retail and wholesale.
Stocks the Retail Store by rotating merchandise on a daily basis.
Assists customers in a courteous manner by answering questions and directing them to available merchandise.
Prices merchandise in the Marketplace retail store area according to quality and condition.
Responsible for maintaining all work areas clean and well organized daily, which includes but is not limited to the Marketplace retail store, processing areas, wholesale parking lot, product staging area, alley ways, areas surrounding dumpsters.
Receives work and safety instructions and answers questions. Communicates with management, co-workers, program participants, and the public.
Safeguards company property, including donated goods. Reports any incidents of theft or unauthorized possession of company property.
Acts safely at all times, following all safety rules and regulations.
Follows all company policies and procedures.
Promotes and demonstrates cooperation and teamwork. Assists and shares knowledge and information with other employees as needed.
Uses good interpersonal skills such as courtesy, sensitivity, politeness, and thoughtfulness
