JOB SUMMARY:

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Assist customers in placing their orders and provide recommendations on menu items if needed

  • Address customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous and prompt manner

  • Ensure the overall satisfaction of customers by providing excellent service during their visit

  • Accurately input customer orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system

  • Verify order accuracy and inform kitchen staff of any special requests or modifications

  • Process transactions for cash, credit cards, mobile payments, and other accepted methods

  • Issue receipts and ensure proper change is given when applicable

  • Collaborate with kitchen and food preparation staff to ensure a smooth flow of orders

  • Assist in preparing and packaging food items, such as assembling sandwiches or packaging fries as needed

  • Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and dining area

  • Regularly restock supplies, condiments, and utensils

  • Ensure the cleanliness of menus, counters, and payment terminals

  • Adhere to all health and safety standards, food handling regulations, and company policies

  • Comply with cash handling procedures and report any discrepancies or issues immediately

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding customer information and transactions

  • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations

  • Support colleagues during busy periods or in other areas of the restaurant as need


SKILLS DEVELOPED OVER WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a welcoming environment

  • Accurately input customer orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong numerical aptitude and accuracy in handling cash transactions

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional customer service

  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS system is a plus


HOURS OF OPERATION:

Monday - Sunday: 7am - 10pm
