Cyber Safety Cop is looking for part-time instructors who live in Orange County, CA, to present Internet safety lectures to students, parents, and educators. These presentations are in-person and take place primarily in public and private schools.

Our student-focused presentations (Kindergarten through 12th grade) are performed in an assembly format to large groups of students. The student assemblies occur during school hours, Monday through Friday. The parent lectures are typically held from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday through Thursday. Applicants must have at least two or three days available per week to speak in schools, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.

Our instructors must possess excellent presentation skills, understand social media apps and Internet-related technology, and have real-world experience working with children with a nexus to safety, e.g., law enforcement, psychologist, educator, social worker, pediatric or behavioral health medical professionals. Our instructors must have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule with availability to work from 7 AM to 3 PM and 5 PM to 8 PM on weekdays. Every week's teaching schedule will look a little different. Applicants must live within a 25-mile radius of Santa Ana, CA.

Responsibilities:
  • Present lectures on Internet safety and child safety issues.

  • Attend meetings with other instructors.

  • Travel to schools throughout Southern California and speak to students in large assemblies and speak to groups of parents in after-school meetings.
