About the Role Doyon Government Group is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to oversee payroll operations for multiple entities. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience managing payroll systems, and a solid understanding of wage and hour laws.


Location: Irvine, CA

Type: Full-Time | Hybrid/Remote

Start Date: ASAP

Wage: Based on experience


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and process semi-monthly, multi-state payroll

  • Supervise Payroll Specialist and ensure accurate payroll workflow

  • Maintain payroll systems and ensure compliance with state and federal laws

  • Prepare reports, conduct audits, and reconcile payroll accounts

  • Serve as point of contact for payroll vendors and employee inquiries


Qualifications

  • 6+ years of payroll experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of wage and hour regulations

  • Proficiency in MS Office and payroll systems

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred

  • Government contracting experience is a plus


Work Environment Primarily remote with occasional in-office work. Must have a dedicated, professional home office setup.
