About the Role Doyon Government Group is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to oversee payroll operations for multiple entities. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, experience managing payroll systems, and a solid understanding of wage and hour laws.
Location: Irvine, CA
Type: Full-Time | Hybrid/Remote
Start Date: ASAP
Wage: Based on experience
Key Responsibilities
Manage and process semi-monthly, multi-state payroll
Supervise Payroll Specialist and ensure accurate payroll workflow
Maintain payroll systems and ensure compliance with state and federal laws
Prepare reports, conduct audits, and reconcile payroll accounts
Serve as point of contact for payroll vendors and employee inquiries
Qualifications
6+ years of payroll experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role
Strong knowledge of wage and hour regulations
Proficiency in MS Office and payroll systems
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
Government contracting experience is a plus
Work Environment Primarily remote with occasional in-office work. Must have a dedicated, professional home office setup.
