Driver + Installation Team Member

At Found Rental Co., the Driver is a professional leader who excels in customer service,

prioritizes safety and has a thorough understanding of inventory management. This individual demonstrates strong leadership qualities, is detail-oriented, and possesses excellent organizational skills. They take pride in delivering and striking events while ensuring seamless communication between clients, operations, and dispatch teams.

The ideal candidate anticipates customer and team needs, embodies the Found brand, and consistently upholds its values.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive company trucks/vehicles to and from events while following Found Rental Co. driving practices, policies and processes. 

  • Driving Requirements Maintain a clean driving record if operating company vehicles.

  • Lead Delivery Teams: Oversee delivery and strike teams in the field, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and professionally.

  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during deliveries, identifying yourself upon arrival.

  • Equipment Setup: Conduct walk-throughs with clients to confirm proper equipment placement before and after setup.

  • Equipment Protection: Ensure proper handling, loading, and unloading of equipment to prevent damage.

  • Time Management: Work effectively to ensure event setups are completed within the projected labor budget.

  • Real-Time Updates: Maintain communication with operations and dispatch teams regarding arrivals, departures, or any on-site changes or issues.

  • Accurate Paperwork: Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner.

  • Report Issues: Communicate with operations about any damaged or missing equipment.

  • Venue Care: Adhere to venue rules and regulations while treating all properties with the utmost respect and care.

  • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and ensure team adherence to California state laws regarding rest and meal breaks.

  • Mentorship: Teach and mentor team members to ensure a high-performing and cohesive team.

  • Additional Tasks: Perform delivery, pickup, or warehouse duties as assigned.

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Truck Driving Experience: Proven ability to drive 16'–26' box trucks.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

  • Dependability: A strong work ethic and reliable performance under pressure.

  • Communication: Clear, concise, and professional communication skills.

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional quality control and organizational skills.

  • Safety Awareness: A passion for maintaining safety protocols.

  • Sense of Urgency: Ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently.

  • Problem-Solving: Critical thinking and decisiveness in challenging situations.

  • Integrity: A commitment to upholding the company’s values and brand image.

Structure:

  • Part time with the potential for full time

  • Hourly, paid weekly

  • Days and hours vary on a weekly basis, mostly weekends

  • Team members will report to either Benicia or Fullerton locations
