JOB SUMMARY:
With a lot of sweat, equity, love, and a mission that resonates with the public, Monkey Business Café has become a fixture in the Fullerton community. Today, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, offer on-line ordering and catering. They also have a Monkey Business product line of seasonings and fresh treats using ingredients they harvest at the Fullerton Arboretum.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pre-bus tables when plates are empty
Assist with drink refills
Check/restock/clean the restrooms every hour
Wipe down the counters and restock cups
When customers leave:
Bus all plates and cups
Clear all table condiments and bring to the host
Wipe down entire table
Sweep around tables
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
High standards of personal hygiene and personal appearances
Ability to be on feet for several hours at a time
Must pass background check and random drug tests
SKILLS DEVELOPED OVER WORK EXPERIENCE:
Customer service skills
ServSafe Food Handlers, certificate training
POS system training
Restaurant day to day operations
Knowledge of kitchen sanitation and safety measures used in food handling and in the operation of cleaning and care of utensils, equipment, and work area
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, carrying, crawling, reaching, handing, pushing, and pulling
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time and withstand heat
