Phantom Design: Packing and Shipping Operator

A fun e-commerce merchandizing brand that designs, manufacturers and ships products from an office warehouse in Lake Forest, CA. It is a small group of fun-loving and creative people within a growing team.


The Packing and Shipping Operator responsibilities include packing finished product in accordance with standard packaging procedures, maintain quality standards and efficient production, track and complete multiple facets of product packaging, handle incoming and outgoing deliveries.

Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to safety programs and OSHA compliance to ensure a clean and safe work environment

  • Follow company packing procedures and standards

  • Handle inventory with care and attention to detail

  • Ensure product orders are packed and moved carefully

  • Work at different stations as production requires

  • Inspect, weigh, and package products

  • Monitor flow of product into processing machinery

  • Verify compliance with quality, safety, production standards, work rules, and efficient operation of equipment

  • Report potential production downtime, scrap production, and quality of each machine and summarize data from shift

  • Use WooCommerce, Shopify, and Stamps.com to assist with order fulfilling and shipment

  • Receive deliveries and register them in the shipping system

  • Maintain stockroom by organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items

  • Schedule shipments and plan logistics to ensure that there is sufficient storage space and staff on hand

  • Prepare regular shipping and receiving reports for managers

  • Adhere to environmental management and systems

  • Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints and work to solve them while providing excellent customer service

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred but not required

  • 18 years or older

  • Able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Able to stand for up to 4 hours at a time

  • Detail-oriented

  • Excellent organization skills

  • Integrity and leadership

  • Excellent customer service

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Strong computer skills

  • Ability to multi-task
