Are you ready to step into a winter wonderland and spread holiday cheer? Winter Fest OC is on the lookout for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our team of Event Supervisors. This isn't just a job; it's your chance to be part of an unforgettable holiday experience. As a member of our Event Supervisor team, you will represent Winter Fest OC by welcoming guests with a friendly smile and ensuring they have a memorable experience at the most enchanting winter event in the area.


What we're looking for:

We are on the lookout for dependable and skilled Event Supervisors to take charge of the ins and outs of all our exciting events. As the Events Supervisor, you will be in charge of leading a team of talented individuals, making sure they follow our company policies and procedures, and creating a secure and thriving work atmosphere.


Job Duties:

  •  Ensure efficient deployment of event staff to designated areas.

  • Conduct thorough briefings, both individually and in groups, and

  • Maintain ongoing communication with staff to provide updates, address inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.

  • Ability to provide comprehensive training for all positions in your assigned area.

  • Coordinate mandated rest and meal breaks in compliance with state regulations.

  • Promptly respond to all calls, including those related to crowd control, medical emergencies, security concerns, and assisting with managing unruly or dissatisfied guests.

  • Address customer service needs comprehensively throughout all stage of each event, including providing directions, information, and escorts.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in understanding and adhering to the policies, procedures, and regulations of various venues, facilities, and events.

  • Perform administrative tasks, such as managing timesheets and break schedules, preparing and submitting required reports, and handling Workers'

  • Compensation paperwork for employee injuries.

  • Handle medical emergencies involving employees, complete necessary paperwork for reporting injuries to the Nurse Line, and submit completed packets to Human Resources and the appropriate Operations team.

  • Prepare and issue written disciplinary documentation as necessary.


Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old+

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to effectively engage with individuals at all levels of the organization, including guests, while contributing as a collaborative team member

  • Bring energy and enthusiasm to the workplace at all times

  • Flexible availability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed

  • Willingness to work additional hours when necessary

  • 1+ year in live event management preferred


Benefits

  • Salary Range starting at $19/hr., based on experience

  • Up to 40 hours/week available

  • Year-round part-time work may be available, based on performance and availability for other projects and events
