ABOUT US: Space-Lok, Inc. specializes in the manufacturing of high-quality fasteners and multiple component mechanisms for all sectors of the aerospace industry.



  • Ensure the continuous availability of quality materials and finished components via timely, effective execution of enterprise resource planning (ERP) materials requirement planning (MRP).

  • Utilize ERP and customer outputs to validate MRP requirements to optimize purchasing strategy and inventory build plan.

  • Maintain materials requirement planning (MRP) planning parameters.

  • Action WO Release / Expedite / De-expedite / Cancel action messages.

  • Prioritize work order release and cut off schedule to maximize customer on time delivery (OTD) and minimize Outside Processing (OP) and Work in Process (WIP) costs.

  • Curate a master production schedule (MPS) to level-load shipments, optimize OTD, and exceed monthly/ quarterly revenue targets

  • Ensure sufficient capacity for MRP/MPS execution via capacity requirements planning.

  • Proactively identify and quantize risks impacting supply, transformation, delivery, and customer demand; effectively analyzing probability; providing solutions to mitigate/control identified risks.

  • Manage inventory replenishment with inventory models including but not limited to visual review, periodic review, order point, time-phased order point (TPOP) as required.

  • Be able to set up and run a pull system of inventory control.

  • Collaborate with operations management to ensure equipment or facility service schedules maintain capacity levels required to meet anticipated demand/monthly ship plan.

  • Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counting and inventory audits.


  • Manage the purchasing cycle, including generating and processing Purchase Order (PO) requisitions, PO creation, PO follow-up, goods receiving, and three-way match for final payment.

  • Action PO Release / Expedite / De-expedite / Cancel action messages.

  • Purchase products competitively.

  • Provide an uninterrupted flow of materials and services.

  • Select suppliers according to the type of product, quality provided by the supplier, and opportunity for strategic partnership.

  • Develop strategies including dual sourcing, buffering, and forward buying to minimize extraneous financial risk such as supplier yield, delivery, pricing, and market changes from economic or catastrophic events.


  • Daily reporting and measuring of department key performance indicators

  • Participate in strategic planning and control development with senior management.

  • Assist manufacturing with process improvement and lean initiatives.

  • Control and check errors, taking any corrective action so that deviations from standards are minimized and stated goals of the organization are achieved in a desired manner.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field or high school equivalent and 5 years relevant experience

  • APICS CPIM certification highly preferred

  • Detailed knowledge of manufacturing planning, master production scheduling, product definition, inventory control, materials requirements planning, capacity requirements planning, shop floor control, warehousing, transportation and purchasing business functions

  • Quantitative and analytical acumen; inquisitive nature; critical thinking/problem-solving skills; ability to challenge status quo

  • Five years manufacturing experience. Aerospace hardware preferred but not required

  • Demonstrable understanding of Lean manufacturing & inventory management principles

  • Expert knowledge of ERP functionality. Epicor highly preferred

  • Ability to analyze data to make operational decisions

  • High sense of urgency & bias towards action

JOB TYPE: Full-time

PAY: $42,246 - $85,061 / year

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shift
