RATE OF PAY: $25.00 Hourly
POSITION: We are hiring Canvassers to work in the cities of Santa Ana, Orange, and Garden Grove for a Community College bond measure on the November 2024 ballot
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Canvassers are responsible for conducting outreach to residents and voters via door-to-door canvassing and by phone
Learn a script and additional information about the measure
Skills and Abilities
Has a smartphone and wireless internet
Strong verbal communication skills
Previous organizing, canvassing, or civic engagement experience preferred
Interest in social and political issues
Self-motivated and able to set and reach personal goals
Good time-management skills
Good judgment
Ability to learn new information and topics quickly
Ability to pay attention to detail
Bilingual candidates are preferred
Education and Experience
Political: 1 year (Required)
Location and Hours
The office is located in Santa Ana.
Monday 3:00-8:00
Tuesday 3:00-8:00
Wednesday 3:00-8:00
Thursday: Off
Friday: Off
Saturday: 10:00-3:00
Sunday: 12:00-5:00
Compensation
Hourly pay of $25/hour depending on experience
We offer driving stipends to individuals who drive to and from their canvassing turf. And, we provide lunch once a week.
