Position Summary:

This job posting is for job seekers that are interested in temporary Administrative Assistant positions. UCI Temporary Employment Services (TES) continuously seeks applicants that are interested and available to work in Administrative Assistant roles on temporary assignments at the UC Irvine Campus in Irvine, UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange and other UCI Satellite Clinics.

We are seeking applicants with a wide range of administrative and professional experience. Administrative duties range from front office assistance to providing executive-level support to office managers and department directors. Majority of assignments are full-time hours, however some part-time openings may be available.

We recruit for this position on an on-going basis in order to build a talent pool of potential candidates.

Compensation Range:

Minimum $20.72 Mid-Point $23.83 Maximum $29.02


  • At least 1-2 years previous administrative support experience

  • Strong written & oral communication skills

  • Experience with answering phones, data-entry, & filing

  • Experience with calendaring, scheduling meetings, & booking travel

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs


  • Experience working in a higher education or university setting
