Skills Learned During On-the-Job Training
This position is responsible for selecting product and loading trucks (i.e., moving product between loading dock and the warehouse, and moving product within the warehouse) with a high degree of accuracy and great sense of urgency while meeting standards within established guidelines.
Essential Job Duties:
Review documents and record information verifying quantity, identity, availability and condition of product
Drive and operate the reach truck, pallet jack, and fork truck to select, pull, sort, and stack product within the warehouse and dock
Hand stack product on occasion when off balance or in the wrong location
Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders and remove shrink wrap from incoming orders
Skills Learned During On-the-Job Training:
Equipment operation (reach truck, pallet jack, and fork truck) and battery changer operation
Review documents and record information verifying quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product
Understand load diagrams, reading labels, and equipment checklist
Proper pallet building and stacking of product
Proper wrapping, marking, and staging of pallets
Minimum Qualifications:
Able to read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading
Able to perform mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to verify quantities of product
Possess strong problem-solving skills and excellent time management skills. Able to apply understanding of problems involving some variables
Independent discretion/ judgment, but work well in a team environment
Requirements:
7-year background check
Drug test
Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs

Shift Details:
40 hours per week from 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Weekends mandatory. Days off are two consecutive weekdays, either Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday.
