Current vacancy is 15 hours/week, 10 month/year


SALARY RANGE: $19.08/hour to $23.20/hour in five annual steps


CLOSING DATE: February 20, 2023


THE POSITION: Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, coordinates communications and dissemination of information between the school, home, and the community; facilitates home and community understanding of school programs and objectives, and secures parent involvement while assisting in school activities both during the day and evening. Individuals must demonstrate both oral and written proficiency in English.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and sufficient training to demonstrate the knowledge and abilities required, and one year of related experience involving public contact. A valid California Driver's License and a reliable vehicle for use in the performance of the duties and responsibilities of this position are also required.


THE EXAMINATION: Candidates may be examined for practical knowledge of record-keeping, oral and written communication skills, telephone techniques, English usage, as well as problems and concerns of families in the community; English grammar, and word usage.
