JVS SoCal’s HealthWorks® will prepare you to begin a professional healthcare career as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in just 8 weeks. You’ll learn how to care for patients and assist doctors and nurses through both classroom instruction and real-life clinical experience. After your 8-week course you’ll be ready to pass the California State Certification exam and receive job placement support and career coaching. Applicants must meet these minimum requirements: Pass a pre-enrollment physical exam Meet minimum reading and math skills High school diploma or GED Must pass criminal background check Must pass a drug screen (including cannabis)
