Job Summary:Do you want to be part of a dynamic Back-of-House Entertainment team? From featured roles in Costuming, our Entertainment team is focused on providing the ultimate level of personalized Disney Guest Service for our Cast Members in Entertainment. They ensure our performers have clean, great looking costumes to wear each and every day and assist with any quick changes or costuming needs for Entertainment at the Disneyland Resort®. This event is open to the public and will focus on finding talent to fill roles within Entertainment Costuming. So, come meet our Recruitment and Costuming Leadership team to learn more about our dynamic team that provides unparalleled and unforgettable memories to our Guests and fellow Cast Members! Roles available will include:
- Part Time Entertainment Costuming – starting pay rate: $17.00
Full Time requires full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week including nights, weekends and holidays. Part Time requires weekend availability and holidays year-round . With our Disney Aspire program, eligible hourly Cast Members receive 100% of tuition, paid upfront for select partner institutions! - If traveling West on Ball Road, turn left on Cast Place (before Disneyland Drive) and then next left. Parking attendant is on the left.
- If traveling East to the Casting Center, pass Disneyland Dr., and Cast Place is the next right. Then make the next left. Parking attendant is on the left.
To reduce wait time, it is strongly encouraged that you apply in advance. Process may take up to three hours to complete. Responsibilities:Entertainment Costuming Cast Members interact with guests (i.e., Entertainment Cast Members) constantly as they assist the performers dress and undress for various shows and parades in a fast paced work environment. They ensure performers have a clean, great looking costume to wear each and every day.
Basic Qualifications:- Must be at least 18 years of age or older to be considered
- Willing to stand for two to three hours at a time and work at various heights (e.g., climbing tall ladders)
- Comfortable with heavy lifting
- Exposure to working with costumes
- Able to complete repetitious tasks while maintaining quality
- Part Time requires weekend availability (Friday evening and full availability Saturday/Sunday) and holidays year-round
- Bilingual
- Costuming issue/repair experience
- Experience working with costumes in a theatre or show production, College theater, or paid theater environment
- Valid California driver’s license
- Flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Full availability for any shift, seven (7) days per week, including nights, weekends, and holidays
SCHEDULE AVAILABILITY Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
