About the event

Succession planning is the process of identifying and developing potential future leaders or senior managers, as well as individuals to fill other business-critical positions. The goal is for an organization to be able to fill key roles effectively if someone in a current position were to leave, regardless of whether the departure was planned (such as a retirement) or a surprise (such as a termination of employment).   When succession planning is carefully conducted and the plan periodically reviewed, organizations can avoid extended and costly vacancies. Succession planning must be a priority for every employer and should be part of its strategic business plan. This presentation stresses the importance of succession planning and provides you with information on how to conduct this business activity.
