JOB SUMMARY:

To maintain cleanliness and orderliness across our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for staff, volunteers, and visitors.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in all areas of the facility including offices, restrooms, common areas, and event spaces.

  • Empty trash and recycling bins, and properly dispose of waste in accordance with organizational guidelines.

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.

  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and notify the appropriate personnel when supplies need to be reordered.

  • Assist with setting up and breaking down tables, chairs, and other equipment for events and meetings.

  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor.

  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

  • Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including those related to confidentiality and security.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks.

  • Good communication skills and ability to interact professionally with staff, volunteers, and visitors.

  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.


WORK EXPERIENCE SKILLS DEVELOPED:

  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.

  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and notify the appropriate personnel when supplies need to be reordered.

  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor.

  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
