JOB SUMMARY:
OC Bike Garage is currently seeking a Bike and E-Bike Mechanic, individuals who are service-oriented and passionate about improving their skills in bicycle mechanics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repairing both Bicycles and E-Bikes
Proficient in handling E-Bikes, full suspensions, electronic shifting, and hydraulic braking systems
Assembling both Bicycles and E-Bikes
Demonstrating excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to stand for extended periods
Processing customer payments using a POS system
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to stand for long periods of times
Able to lift 50 or more lbs.
Physical fitness and endurance from lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
SKILLS DEVELOPED:
Technical proficiency in bike mechanics, including repair and assembly of bicycles and E-bikes.
Strong problem-solving abilities, particularly in diagnosing and resolving issues with bike components and systems.
Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues, ensuring clear understanding and conveying information.
Adaptability to a dynamic work environment, fostering the ability to switch between different tasks seamlessly and efficiently.
Processing customer payments using a POS system.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
Tuesday - Friday: 10am - 6pm
Saturday: 10am - 5pm
