Essential Job Duties:
Assist customers in placing their orders and provide recommendations on menu items if needed
Address customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous and prompt manner
Ensure the overall satisfaction of customers by providing excellent service during their visit
Accurately input customer orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system
Verify order accuracy and inform kitchen staff of any special requests or modifications
Process transactions for cash, credit cards, mobile payments, and other accepted methods
Issue receipts and ensure proper change is given when applicable
Collaborate with kitchen and food preparation staff to ensure a smooth flow of orders
Assist in preparing and packaging food items, such as assembling sandwiches or packaging fries as needed
Maintain a clean and organized cashier station and dining area
Regularly restock supplies, condiments, and utensils
Ensure the cleanliness of menus, counters, and payment terminals
Adhere to all health and safety standards, food handling regulations, and company policies
Comply with cash handling procedures and report any discrepancies or issues immediately
Maintain confidentiality regarding customer information and transactions
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations
Support colleagues during busy periods or in other areas of the restaurant as need
Skills Developed Over Work Experience:
Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a welcoming environment

Requirements and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent qualifications
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong numerical aptitude and accuracy in handling cash transactions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS system is a plus
