The position of an HVAC Install Apprentice is to deliver exceptional HVAC installation service to the customer by completing and installing HVAC equipment and accessories.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Lead Installation Technician with the installation of HVAC related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications.

  • Support Lead Installer in:

    • Installing HVAC related equipment.

    • Installing Sheet metal duct systems.

    • Connecting gas lines to heating equipment.

    • Cutting and threading pipes.

    • Wiring both line voltage and low voltage to heating equipment.

    • Installing copper refrigerant line to air conditioning units, including soldering and brazing.

  • Inspect area for cleanliness after job is completed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School diploma or GED required.

  • Positive Team attitude

  • Will need EPA Certification or acquiring.

  • Need to have Dexterity as you will be working with your hands daily.

  • Have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of verifiable work experience.

  • Fundamental knowledge of mechanical systems.

  • Must be able to use a computer tablet, smart phone and read a map or follow GPS.

  • Valid driver’s license and approved to drive by Company’s insurance carrier.

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule (including weekends).
