JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for set-up, food preparation, organization, sanitation, and production of food and beverage items, as well as closing and storage for individual workstation.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for setting up and executing daily bar/prep and organizing individual daily workstation.

  • Prepare and store all food items necessary for the operation of the station in adherence with ClubCorp quality standards.

  • Communicate with Executive Chef and Sous Chef regarding special product needs or issues with food quality or presentation.

  • Creatively garnish all plates at every meal. Maintain proper cooking techniques for station items as designated by Chef(s).

  • Receive and store all goods purchased by the kitchen as requested.

  • Upkeep of items used by others, such as condiments, dressings, salsas, soups, lettuce, fruit, vegetables, etc.

  • Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of daily specials, salads, entrees, etc., based on overall standards and portion size guidelines.

  • Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation of individual work area and kitchen, including equipment, counters, tools, waste areas, etc.

  • Assist fellow Employee Partners, Members, and guests to ensure delivery of the Three Steps of Service without being directed. Be aware of team members and the environment and participate as a member of the team


SKILLS DEVELOPED:

  • Develop proficiency in food preparation techniques, including bar/prep, garnishing, and presentation.

  • Enhance communication skills by effectively conveying special product needs and addressing issues with food quality or presentation to supervisors.

  • Improve organizational abilities by maintaining a clean and organized workstation and effectively managing food storage and inventory.

  • Improve attention to detail by ensuring consistent preparation and presentation of dishes according to quality standards and portion size guidelines.

  • Enhance customer service skills by assisting fellow Employee Partners, Members, and guests to ensure their needs are met and complaints are promptly addressed


REQUIREMENT AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma preferred.

  • Health card preferred.

  • Ability to communicate and follow instructions.

  • Comfortable with working in fast-paced environments, whether indoors or outdoors.

  • Non-Slip Shoes
