Job Summary:

As a Telemarketer at Farmers Insurance, participants will gain experience in professional communication, customer engagement, and appointment setting. This opportunity offers hands-on exposure to client interaction, lead generation strategies, and office coordination while supporting licensed agents. This role is tailored for individuals new to the workforce looking to build strong foundational skills in customer service and the insurance industry.

Essential Job Duties:

• Make outbound calls to potential clients from provided lead lists.

• Set appointments for licensed insurance agents.

• Answer basic questions and provide general information about available services.

• Maintain accurate records of all calls, notes, and follow-ups.

• Follow call scripts and meet daily or weekly outreach goals.

• Support general front-office communication and coordination.


Requirements/Qualifications:

• 18 and over preferred but not required.

• Clean background check required.

• Positive attitude and effective communication skills.

• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus, plus not required.

• Willingness to learn and follow structured scripts and workflows.


Work Experience Skills Developed:

• Professional phone communication and etiquette.

• Listening carefully to potential clients and helping answer questions or setting appointments

• Leads will be provided, allowing you to gain exposure to soft skills development.

• CRM and call-tracking documentation

• Gaining foundational knowledge of the insurance industry and how to explain basic services to clients

• Staying organized and managing daily goals in a fast-paced environment


Hours of Operation:

Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
