JOB SUMMARY:

To provide information and referral services for clients who call, walk-in, or email. To increase access to community resources for clients in need.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage all aspects of information and referral services for all clients who call, walk-in, or email.

  • Assess needs and offer appropriate programs/services to clients.

  • Collaborate with other community agencies by receiving and referring clients.

  • Provide emergency assistance to clients, by way of utility assistance, food, and hygiene items.

  • Support registration and data entry for all programs and special events.

  • Assist with donations/cake appointment drop offs.

  • Respond to complaints and inquiries, providing critical-thinking solutions.

  • Encourage clients to complete program/satisfaction surveys.

  • Oversee the stock and inventory of office supplies and emergency items.

  • Maintain front area. Keep organized to create a welcoming feeling.

  • Maintain outdoor bulletin boards for all guests.

  • Attend Friendly Center all-staff meeting.

  • Maintain working relationships with internal teams (Direct Service Staff and Administrative Staff) and external organizations such as FaCT, Community Agencies, United Way, and City of Orange.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Provide emergency assistance to clients, by way of utility assistance, food, and hygiene items. Support registration and data entry for all programs and special events. • Respond to complaints and inquiries, providing critical-thinking solutions.

  • Maintain front area, oversee stock and inventory of supplies, maintain outdoor bulletin board.

  • Develop knowledge of local resources

  • Develop customer service skills.


REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Bilingual English/Spanish required.
