Job SummaryThe E-Commerce Store/Warehouse Associate performs a variety of duties in support of Goodwill’s e-commerce operations and warehouse functions. This position is responsible for products, processing merchandise, supporting shipping and receiving activities, maintaining inventory, and ensuring merchandise is accurately displayed and organized. The Associate promotes teamwork, provides excellent customer service, and helps maintain an efficient and productive work environment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist with selecting, processing, and preparing items for online sale

• Sort, clean, inspect, and display merchandise

• Facilitate shipping activities, including packaging and preparing orders for shipment

• Assist with pickups, receiving donations, and inventory movement

• Rotate merchandise and maintain organized shelves and displays

• File and organize merchandise and inventory records

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and storage locations

• Operate hand trucks, four-wheel carts, and other material handling equipment as needed

• Use cameras, computers, and office equipment to support daily operations

• Assist with inventory tracking and stock replenishment

• Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines

• Promote cooperation, teamwork, and positive working relationships

• Perform other duties as assigned

 

Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn e-commerce software and systems

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Familiarity with cameras, scanners, printers, and other office equipment preferred


Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for the duration of the work shift

• Ability to comfortably lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to perform repetitive movements including bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, grasping, and walking

• Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments as needed

• Ability to tolerate exposure to dust, moving mechanical parts, and varying weather conditions


Work Experience Skills Developed:

Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
