JOB SUMMARY:

The primary accountability for House Maintenance is to maintain and service the club operations property, ensuring the highest level of facility maintenance and cleanliness. The House Maintenance person must be dedicated to providing quality service and exceeding Member and Guest expectations.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Maintain a clean, aesthetically desirable, and safe club environment meeting the expectations of the General Manager, Department Managers, and Club Members.

  • Keep all indoor and outdoor areas of the club clean and maintained.

  • Vacuum and spot clean carpets, sweep, mop, and polish floors, dust and wipe down furniture, shelves, and other surfaces, including artwork and woodwork.

  • Assist in locker rooms, administrative offices, and laundry tasks as needed.

  • Re-stock supplies as necessary.

  • Maintain a maintenance and project checklist/schedule for preventive maintenance and ongoing improvements.

  • Communicate effectively with the Supervisor to coordinate, acknowledge, prioritize, and complete work requests from all Department Heads, Members, and Guests.

  • Ensure daily assignments are completed in respective areas to meet Club standards and communicated expectations.

  • Assist fellow Employees, Members, and guests to ensure delivery of the Three Steps of Service without being directed. Be aware of team members and the environment and participate as a member of the team.

  • Notify the supervisor of Member/Guest complaints promptly and practice service recovery to rectify complaints as soon as possible.


SKILLS DEVELOPED OVER WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Gain experience in maintaining a clean and safe environment by performing various cleaning tasks and repairs.

  • Learn to prioritize tasks and adhere to schedules to ensure preventive maintenance and ongoing improvements are completed efficiently.

  • Enhance communication skills by effectively coordinating with supervisors, department heads, and club members to fulfill work requests and address complaints.

  • Develop customer service skills by assisting fellow employees, members, and guests to ensure their needs are met and complaints are promptly addressed.

  • Improve problem-solving abilities by handling maintenance issues and complaints, practicing service recovery strategies to rectify problems and maintain satisfaction levels.

  • Adherence to all OSHA regulations, electrical codes, etc., as per performance standards.


REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma preferred

  • Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.

  • Comfortable working at a fast pace in both indoor and outdoor environments.

  • Requirement: work boots.

  • Training preferred in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and building maintenance.

  • Working conditions/environment include both indoor and outdoor environments with frequent changes in temperature.

  • Drivers license required


HOURS OF OPERATION:

Tuesday - Sunday: 5am - 9pm

Monday: 5am - 7pm
