Job Summary:
Cafe Biaani serves authentic Mexican breakfast and coffee with a warm, welcoming touch.
Essential Job Duties:
Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
Prepare food service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces).
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
Answer, report and follow restaurant owner’s instructions.
Clean up station and properly care for leftover food.
Dishwashing.
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulation and safety standards.
Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Monitor and stock inventory to ensure necessary ingredients and supplies are always available.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and adhere to food safety regulations.
Implement cost-saving measures in the kitchen while ensuring quality of food is not compromised.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Must be 16 years or older and out of school.
Food Handlers Card required – can be obtained onsite after first day.
Non-slip shoes and jeans/black pants required. Shirts and aprons provided.
Work Experience Skills Developed:

Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 2:00pm
Saturday – Sunday: 10:00am – 3:00pm
Optional After-Hours Kitchen Prep: Tuesdays 1:00pm – 7:00pm and Thursdays 4:00pm – 9:00pm
