Job Summary:

The Virtual Assistant & Digital Marketing Coordinator will provide essential administrative and outreach support, assist with partner engagement, and help execute digital marketing initiatives. This is a highly collaborative role that supports the executive team with external communications and ensures that our social media and digital strategy aligns with our brand goals.


Essential Job Duties:

Outreach & Communications

  • Research and identify prospective partner organizations, nonprofits, and government agencies aligned with our mission

  • Draft personalized outreach emails and follow-ups

  • Maintain and update CRM or contact database with communication history

  • Help schedule and coordinate virtual meetings and follow-up tasks

  • Support grant research and partnership opportunity tracking

  • Outreach to prospective partners

Digital Marketing & Social Media

  • Assist in creating and scheduling content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Threads, etc.)

  • Conduct keyword research and hashtag optimization to boost SEO and visibility

  • Analyze competitor activity to inform content and outreach strategies

  • Monitor engagement metrics and provide monthly reports

  • Support the development of email newsletters and blog posts as needed

  • Ensure consistent branding and voice across all digital touchpoints


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Basic computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

  • Familiarity with tools like Canva, Meta Business Suite, and Trello/ClickUp preferred

  • High School Diploma

  • Understanding of social media platforms

  • Excellent research skills and attention to detail

  • Self-starter with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities effectively


Work Experience Skills Developed:

  • Monitor engagement metrics and provide monthly reports

  • Support the development of email newsletters and blog posts as needed

  • Ensure consistent branding and voice across all digital touchpoints

  • Maintain and update CRM or contact database with communication history

  • Help schedule and coordinate virtual meetings and follow-up tasks

Locations:

Remote


Hours of Operation:

Monday – Thursday: 11 am – 7 pm

Friday: 11 am – 3 pm
