Job Summary:

Hawkins and Hawkins offer a range of primary tax services, including tax preparation for individuals, small businesses, and corporations; and compliance assistance to meet the various needs of the target market. They specialize in tax preparation, including state and federal tax returns, amendments, and unfiled returns with a mission to provide comprehensive tax solutions and relieve past tax burden.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Answer and direct phone calls professionally

  • Greet and assist clients in person and over the phone

  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars

  • Manage client intake, documentation, and data entry

  • Maintain organized paper and digital filing systems

  • Prepare, proofread, and edit correspondence and tax documents

  • Support tax preparers and CPA with various administrative tasks

  • Assist with office supply inventory and organization

  • Use CRM and AI tools to improve client service and efficiency

  • Ensure confidentiality of all clients’ financial records


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Prior administrative or office experience preferred

  • Professional demeanor and positive attitude

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus


Work Experience Skills Developed:

  • Customer service

  • Handle client intake forms and organize paperwork

  • Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar

  • Prepare and organize documents for tax processing

  • Enter data and keep files up to date

  • Use Microsoft Office and other office software

  • Communicate clearly with clients and team members


Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday: 9:00AM- 5:00PM
