Job Summary:

Hawkins and Hawkins offer a range of primary tax services, including tax preparation for individuals, small businesses, and corporations; and compliance assistance to meet the various needs of the target market. They specialize in tax preparation, including state and federal tax returns, amendments, and unfiled returns with a mission to provide comprehensive tax solutions and relieve past tax burden.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Greet clients in person and over the phone in a professional and welcoming manner

  • Manage client intake, scheduling, and documentation

  • Respond to client inquiries via email and phone

  • Assist with data entry, file organization, and document preparation

  • Support tax preparers with follow-ups and administrative tasks

  • Assist the CPA with tasks like organizing files, preparing documents for review, and client communication

  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Reliable, organized, and proactive work ethic

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Comfortable using office systems and quick to adapt to new technologies, with a strong eagerness to learn and develop new skills

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus


Work Experience Skills Developed:

  • Customer service

  • Handle client intake forms and organize paperwork

  • Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar

  • Prepare and organize documents for tax processing

  • Enter data and keep files up to date

  • Use Microsoft Office and other office software

  • Communicate clearly with clients and team members


Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday: 9:00AM- 5:00PM
