Job Summary:
Hawkins and Hawkins offer a range of primary tax services, including tax preparation for individuals, small businesses, and corporations; and compliance assistance to meet the various needs of the target market. They specialize in tax preparation, including state and federal tax returns, amendments, and unfiled returns with a mission to provide comprehensive tax solutions and relieve past tax burden.
Essential Job Duties:
Greet clients in person and over the phone in a professional and welcoming manner
Manage client intake, scheduling, and documentation
Respond to client inquiries via email and phone
Assist with data entry, file organization, and document preparation
Support tax preparers with follow-ups and administrative tasks
Assist the CPA with tasks like organizing files, preparing documents for review, and client communication
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
Requirements/Qualifications:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable, organized, and proactive work ethic
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Comfortable using office systems and quick to adapt to new technologies, with a strong eagerness to learn and develop new skills
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Work Experience Skills Developed:
Customer service
Handle client intake forms and organize paperwork
Schedule appointments and maintain the office calendar
Prepare and organize documents for tax processing
Enter data and keep files up to date
Use Microsoft Office and other office software
Communicate clearly with clients and team members
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday: 9:00AM- 5:00PM
