Job Summary:

This entry-level position is designed for individuals beginning their career journey who have an interest in healthcare, social services, or wellness programming. Assistants will gain insight into the assisted living environment, working alongside staff to enhance daily operations, resident engagement, and administrative coordination

Essential Job Duties:

  • Assist the Activities Coordinator and Business Office with calendar planning, event

  • setup, and resident outreach.

  • Create and distribute engaging materials such as flyers, Q-cards, and themed wellness

  • prompts.

  • Support the facilitation of social and wellness activities, including arts and crafts, music

  • hours, storytelling, and hydration reminders.

  • Escort residents to and from activities, meals, and community events, ensuring safety and

  • positive engagement.

  • Participate in team meetings and learn about interdisciplinary roles in senior care.

  • Contribute to special projects including community outreach, event coordination, or

  • health campaigns.

  • Work in various departments to learn the day-to-day operations of interdisciplinary roles

  • in senior care. Departments include but are not limited to Wellness, Dietary, Reception,

  • Maintenance, and Administration.

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • ilingual Spanish preferred.

  • Must complete background check, physical examination, and TB test.

  • Career interests in healthcare, nursing, social work, or community wellness.

  • Shows initiative, creativity, and a genuine interest in supporting older adults.

  • Reliable, adaptable, and eager to contribute to team efforts.

  • Respectful in interactions and open to learning new skills.

  • Strong communication skills.

 

Work Experience Skills Developed:

Monday – Friday: 8AM – 5PM
