Position Title: ESL Hourly Office Support
Position Description:
General office duties such as making and answering phone calls, replying to emails, providing assistance to students/staff at their reception desk, assisting with general office operations. Perform related duties as assigned.
Program Description:
NOCE ESL & Citizenship is a fast-paced, growing department with three main sites and 12+ off-site locations through North Orange County, plus Distance
Education offerings. They currently offer classes M-F 8:00a-9:30p. Their team is
dedicated to providing excellent support to help students navigate the
learning process and achieve their educational, work, and personal goals. They
are looking for dynamic, innovative employees with the ability to maintain a
positive and solution-oriented attitude, willingness to learn new technologies
as appropriate, and flexibility while working with frequent interruptions.
Minimum Qualifications:
Sensitivity to students from diverse backgrounds. Must be willing to make phone calls, data entry, and reflect patient and professional customer service skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills. Can handle multiple tasks at one time; meet targeted deadlines on time; interact and work with many groups/individuals throughout the organization; is organized, creative, resourceful, and efficient; takes initiative and is able to work unsupervised as well as with groups.
Must be PC and Internet proficient. Familiarity with social media, Zoom, and Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Bilingual/Multilingual in one or more of the most-common native languages of our student population, including, but not limited to: Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, Farsi, Arabic.
Pay Rate:
$20/hour for a maximum of 26 hours per week. Please indicate

Hours:
Office hours are 8:00 am- 8:30 pm Monday- Thursday, Fridays 8:00 am-
4:30pm. Please note that this position is temporary beginning June
2025- August 2025
