Job Summary: Port View Preparatory is now hiring compassionate and dedicated ABA Paraprofessionals to support students with autism and other developmental disabilities in a structured school setting. This role focuses on improving academic, behavioral, and social outcomes using evidence-based practices.


Responsibilities:

  • Work 1:1 or in small groups with students implementing behavior support plans

  • Collect data on student performance and behavior

  • Support academic instruction under the guidance of teachers and behavior analysts

  • Use ABA strategies to reinforce learning and skill-building

  • Communicate effectively with staff, families, and supervisors

  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred

  • Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles a plus

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to remain patient, calm, and professional in a fast-paced environment

  • Must pass background check and TB test
