Job Title: ABA Paraprofessional

Job Summary: Port View Preparatory is now hiring compassionate and dedicated ABA Paraprofessionals to support students with autism and other developmental disabilities in a structured school setting. This role focuses on improving academic, behavioral, and social outcomes using evidence-based practices.
Responsibilities:
Work 1:1 or in small groups with students implementing behavior support plans
Collect data on student performance and behavior
Support academic instruction under the guidance of teachers and behavior analysts
Use ABA strategies to reinforce learning and skill-building
Communicate effectively with staff, families, and supervisors
Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience working with individuals with special needs preferred
Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to remain patient, calm, and professional in a fast-paced environment
Must pass background check and TB test
