Job Summary:

Serving the Orange County area for 20 years, Ryoo Dental has made excellence in patient care and dental service their ultimate goals. The Dental Assistant will be the first face of patient care and assist in providing a welcoming environment.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Assist dentist chairside with exams and procedures

  • Prepare patients for exams, procedures, x-rays, etc.

  • Ensure patient comfort

  • Set up instruments for all procedures, ensuring sterility and cleanliness

  • Patient education on services, pricing, insurance, scheduling, etc.

  • Maintain supply inventory

  • Digital charting for all patients

  • Appointment scheduling and reminder phone calls

  • Insurance verification and follow-up


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • About to start, currently enrolled, or recent graduate of dental training program

  • Manual dexterity and fine motor skills

  • Physical strength

  • Mobility, stamina and posture


Work Experience Skills Developed:

  • Assist dentist chairside with exams and procedures

  • Prepare patients for exams, procedures, x-rays, etc.

  • Patient comfort

  • Instrument set up ensuring sterility and cleanliness

  • Patient education on services, pricing, insurance, scheduling, etc.

  • Inventory management

  • Digital charting

  • Appointment scheduling

  • Insurance verification and follow-up


Hours of Operation:

Monday – Thursday: 9 am – 5pm

Friday: 9am – 1pm
