Job Summary:

SCKE Health offers comprehensive medical care in a brand-new state-of-the-art medical facility, serving the local community of Irvine, Laguna Hills, and surrounding areas. The Medical Assistant plays a critical role in supporting physicians and nurses with both clinical and administrative tasks to help provide efficient and compassionate care to patients.


Essential Job Duties:

  • Escort patients to exam rooms and take vital signs

  • Conduct review of systems with patients and prepare for provider visit

  • Administer injections and assist with EKGs and ear lavages

  • Answer messages and assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations

  • Retrieve lab and imaging results for review

  • Confirm and schedule patient appointments

  • Handle incoming faxes and medical records

  • Collect copays and outstanding balances


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • Medical assistant license strongly preferred

  • Strong communication and multitasking skills

  • Comfortable with basic clinical procedures

  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

  • Must be familiar with using a computer, including basic tasks such as typing, emailing, and navigating office software (e.g., Word, Excel, scheduling tools)


Work Experience Skills Developed:

  • Escort patients to exam rooms and take vital signs.

  • Conduct review of systems with patients and prepare for provider visit.

  • Administer injections and assist with EKGs and ear lavages.

  • Answer messages and assist with prescription refills and prior authorizations.

Hours of Operation:

Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
